Compensation is $1 per hour. The X-Ray Reader (Aerospace Manufacturing) is an onsite role based in Sweet Home, OR. , and this position supports the quality assurance department in a titanium aerospace parts production facility. This role exists to utilize non-destructive testing expertise to ensure compliance with quality requirements. The X-Ray Reader interprets radiographic images, documents results, develops shooting techniques, and trains X-Ray Shooters to maintain high quality standards for aerospace castings.

What you'll do

• Perform non-destructive testing using radiographic images.
• Utilize technique cards for inspections.
• Evaluate image quality and accuracy.
• Visually inspect castings for imperfections.
• Consult with engineering on recurring issues.
• Authorize radiographic reports.
• Train others as needed.
