The Medical Assistant role is onsite in Lenoir, NC, with compensation of $16–$18 per hour. American Family Care provides walk-in primary and urgent care, including treatment for acute illnesses and injuries, workers’ compensation, and occupational medicine.

What you'll do

• Collect patient vitals and medical history, prepare patients for exams, explain procedures and treatments, perform ordered tests, administer prescribed medications and treatments, draw blood, conduct laboratory and drug-screening procedures, document immunizations, prepare exam rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain accurate records.
