Donor Support Coordinator

What you'll do

• Receive and manage incoming donor referral calls in a 24/7 call center
• screen patient medical and social histories with hospital staff, nurses, medical examiners, technicians, organ recovery personnel, and family members
• evaluate donation suitability using established policies and medical criteria
• communicate with next of kin about donation opportunities
• guide families through sensitive conversations
• obtain and verify legal authorization
• coordinate and dispatch technician teams
• document medical and social history accurately and promptly
• maintain compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
