General Service Technician — Automotive Maintenance

Job overview

The General Service Technician role is onsite in Anchorage, AK. Compensation is $18–$25 per hour. Midas Alaska provides vehicle inspection, diagnosis, and repair services for customers. The technician performs routine maintenance and basic service work that helps keep customer vehicles operating safely. The role supports the shop through inspections, tire service, component replacement, and maintaining clean work areas.

What you'll do

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including fluid exchanges and oil changes
• conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections
• mount, balance, and rotate tires
• replace batteries
• change bulbs, belts, and hoses
• maintain and clean shop areas
• complete other shop maintenance as needed.
