The Assistant Supervisor / Patrol Captain — Marine Operations role is onsite in Pompano Beach, FL. Compensation is $60,000–$85,000 per year. TowBoatU.S. Ft. Lauderdale provides marine assistance, towing, salvage, launch services, line handling, and commercial marine support in South Florida. The role combines vessel operations with support for daily patrol coordination, crew performance, training, safety, vessel readiness, and customer service. The captain responds to marine assistance assignments and helps maintain consistent operational standards while developing into a broader leadership role.

What you'll do

• Operate company towing vessels
• respond to disabled vessels, groundings, emergencies, salvage, long-distance towing, and special projects
• perform towing and other marine assistance services
• assess incidents and hazards
• support daily operations and crew coordination
• provide field leadership when assigned
• assist with crew training and evaluation
• reinforce safety and operating procedures
• complete service and incident records
• inspect and maintain vessels
• report deficiencies.
