The Registered Nurse — Correctional Health role is onsite in Castle Rock, CO, with a Wednesday–Saturday schedule from 12:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.; pay is $44–$48 per hour. The nurse provides care to patients in a correctional facility while helping maintain facility security. The nurse assesses patient health, delivers treatments and medications, responds to routine and emergency needs, documents care, and coordinates with the healthcare team to support patient health and safety.

What you'll do

• Assess new patients and identify health problems
• initiate medical records and special-needs requests
• respond to medical issues and emergencies
• administer prescribed treatments and medications
• prepare equipment and rooms for examinations
• maintain IVs as needed
• review services with the Health Services Administrator
• delegate tasks appropriately
• educate patients on diet, hygiene, and disease prevention
• follow facility security and safety procedures.
