CNC Machinist

The CNC Machinist role is onsite in Katy, TX. Compensation is $22–$32 per hour, depending on experience. The position supports safe, efficient product and service delivery by manufacturing oilfield equipment, including downhole drilling bits. The machinist operates CNC equipment and performs hands-on production and assembly work, with cross-training across manufacturing activities. The role also maintains equipment, follows safety procedures, participates in failure investigations, and identifies opportunities to improve production processes.

What you'll do

• Operate CNC lathes, mill-turns, or mills to produce graphite molds or machine steel-bodied drill bits.
• Use hand tools and equipment, rotate through manufacturing activities, participate in pre-job and toolbox meetings, plan and execute assigned maintenance, report equipment problems, and operate equipment according to procedures and competency.
• Identify process improvements, participate in relevant failure investigations, and apply manufacturing-system continuous-improvement tools.
