What you'll do

• Operate a Vermeer 24-40 horizontal directional drill
• inspect and care for equipment
• understand blueprints and locate underground utilities
• load and unload equipment and supplies
• hand dig and set up the rig
• control drilling depth and direction
• monitor drilling with locating equipment
• manage drilling fluid
• pull electrical cable through completed pilot holes
• install conduit, cable, pipe, couplers, anchors, pedestals, and ground boxes
• follow PPE and work-zone safety requirements
• maintain tools, equipment, and job-site cleanliness.

Why this role
