The Facilities Maintenance Technician – Critical Systems role is onsite in Kansas City, KS, supporting the University of Kansas Health System. Compensation is not specified. The work includes troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, testing, and repair of mechanical and electrical equipment, life-safety systems, emergency power systems, and other critical infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Inspect, test, diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical equipment and fire/life-safety systems
• troubleshoot electrical systems and components
• maintain emergency power, battery, fire detection and suppression, sprinkler, building management, and tube transport systems
• perform preventive maintenance and inspections
• document work in the designated CMMS
• support regulatory and accreditation testing
• follow safety procedures and building codes
• coordinate with facilities leadership, clinical staff, contractors, and other maintenance personnel.
