Radio Frequency Engineer

Job overview

The Radio Frequency Engineer role is onsite in Chantilly, VA, with compensation of $125,000–$175,000 per year. The engineer supports Nokia Federal Solutions’ mission-critical network solutions for U.S. civil, defense, and intelligence sectors.

What you'll do

• Design and develop RF transceiver circuits and support RF front-end architectures
• develop and analyze link budgets
• conduct circuit, system, and electromagnetic simulations
• develop RF schematics and review PCB layouts
• support prototype bring-up, testing, troubleshooting, and validation
• collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and own assigned subsystem activities.

Why this role

Requires a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, RF engineering, or a related field and 3–5 years of relevant experience. Preferred experience includes Keysight ADS, AWR Microwave Office, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, RF lab testing, LTE/5G, and mission-critical communications.
