Job overview
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) role is onsite in Arlington, VA, with a stated rate of $20–$24.64 per hour, plus shift differentials as applicable. Carlin Springs Health and Rehabilitation is a long-term care and skilled nursing facility serving residents. The CNA provides basic nursing care under the direction of a licensed nurse supervisor, assists residents with daily care and mobility, monitors and records basic measurements, and reports changes in condition to support resident safety and well-being.
What you'll do
- Provide basic nursing care and procedures under licensed nurse supervision
- assist with bathing, grooming, hygiene, adaptive equipment, bowel and bladder functions, transfers, positioning, and ambulation
- prepare and transport residents to appointments and activities
- measure and record vital signs, heights, and weights as instructed
- empty urinary drainage bags and report irregularities
- answer call lights and check residents who cannot call for help
- report condition changes
- maintain cleanliness of resident areas and equipment.
