What you'll do

• Prepare and portion food for regular and therapeutic diets
• follow recipes and food safety procedures
• serve meals and snacks according to menus, diet orders, and preferences
• monitor and record food and equipment temperatures
• wash dishes
• clean work areas
• store and label food
• assist with receiving and inventory
• maintain kitchen equipment and supplies.
