The medical assistant coordinates administrative and clinical tasks, prepares patients and procedure rooms, supports the perioperative team, and helps maintain patient flow. The role also processes instruments, documents care in the electronic medical record, and protects patient confidentiality.

What you'll do

• Prepare patient charts for procedures
• schedule operative hysteroscopies
• communicate patient changes and abnormal results to the perioperative team
• prepare sterile trays and procedure rooms
• coordinate tests and appointments
• support prescriptions and refills
• disinfect rooms
• maintain supplies and logs
• scan charts into the EMR
• perform and document urine pregnancy tests
• clean, package, and autoclave instruments
• assist with quality projects.
