Commercial Food Equipment Service Technician

Job overview

The Commercial Food Equipment Service Technician role is an onsite field-service position based in Pearl, MS, serving the Jackson, MS area. Compensation is $25–$40 per hour. The TEMCO team supports foodservice customers by maintaining and repairing commercial cooking, refrigeration, and beverage equipment. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains hot-side and cold-side commercial equipment, documents service work, communicates repair status and recommendations to customers, and responds to service calls. The role helps minimize customer downtime through safe, professional service and ongoing technical training.

What you'll do

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial cooking and refrigeration equipment
• perform preventative maintenance
• document service calls, parts, labor, and customer interactions
• communicate repair status and recommendations
• manage truck inventory
• respond to service calls
• follow safety requirements
• participate in technical training
• take part in an on-call rotation as needed.
