Compensation is $190,000–$215,000 per year. The Lead Engineer, Full-Stack AI Platform role is primarily onsite in Odenton, MD, with moderate travel of 15–25% to Woven’s Virginia office and occasionally other locations. The role supports a program component integrated into a larger federal system, including deployments on classified systems that cannot be accessed remotely. This hands-on technical lead guides architecture and delivery while contributing code, reviews, testing, and production features. The role connects the company’s applications to customer systems and builds deployment and validation capabilities for restricted and disconnected environments, helping deliver reliable software within federal customer infrastructure.

What you'll do

• Build full-stack applications using the stated Python/Django, FastAPI, React/TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and Redis technologies
• take features from concept through production
• use and review AI-generated code
• integrate applications with customer identity, data, workflow, and API systems
• deploy to customer infrastructure, including air-gapped and high-side networks
• build offline deployment tooling
• establish CI/CD, automated tests, and validation suites
• troubleshoot across application, operating system, network, and data layers
• document architectures, APIs, and runbooks
• guide technical direction and communicate risks and decisions.
