Caregiver / Home Care Aide — Weekend Shifts

The Caregiver / Home Care Aide role provides onsite home care across South Orange County, California, with the listing location in San Juan Capistrano. Pay is $19–$23 per hour. Assisting Hands provides non-medical home care based on each client’s individualized Plan of Care. The caregiver provides companionship or hands-on personal care as authorized, helps maintain a safe home environment, documents care, and reports changes in clients’ condition or needs. Weekend availability is required; assignments vary with client needs and caregiver availability and may range from four to 12 hours.

What you'll do

• Depending on the client’s Plan of Care, provide companionship, safety supervision, meal preparation, light housekeeping, errands, transportation, medication reminders, and personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, mobility assistance, and transfers.
• Maintain a clean and safe residence, document caregiving activities, follow infection-control procedures, and report changes in condition or care needs.
