Field Service Technician – Computer Hardware

The Field Service Technician – Computer Hardware role is onsite in Earth City, MO, with travel to customer locations throughout the assigned service area. Compensation is $21–$24 per hour. The role provides hardware repair and technical support for computer equipment. The position exists to restore customer laptops, desktops, and related equipment to working order. It contributes by diagnosing and repairing hardware, completing replacements, troubleshooting basic issues, and documenting service activity in the ticketing system.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair laptops, desktops, and computer hardware
• replace components including motherboards, hard drives, keyboards, and LCD screens
• perform equipment replacements and repair or replace peripherals
• troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues
• travel to customer locations throughout the assigned metropolitan and surrounding areas
• document service activities and update tickets in real time
• complete required technical training and certifications.
