Working with dermatologists and Mohs surgeons, the role develops treatment plans, coordinates care, and educates patients about prevention, treatment options, and follow-up. Biopsies, cryotherapy, and other office procedures are based on experience and training.

What you'll do

• Evaluate and manage patients with dermatologic conditions
• diagnose and manage common dermatologic disorders
• perform skin examinations and assess suspicious lesions
• provide ongoing care for patients with a history of skin cancer
• educate patients on prevention, treatment options, and follow-up
• develop treatment plans with physicians
• coordinate care with dermatologists and Mohs surgeons. Biopsies, cryotherapy, and other office procedures are based on experience and training. Requires an NP license and at least one year of dermatology experience in an NP role
• willingness to work one day per week at the Wake Forest location.
