What you'll do

• Develop UFS Weather Model infrastructure features for in-core data assimilation and moving nests
• implement state management and rewind capabilities
• extend coupling support using ESMF
• design automated regression tests
• work with data assimilation teams on UFS and JEDI builds
• explore incremental analysis updates
• use modern software engineering and testing practices
• debug model infrastructure and integration issues
• document work for NWS developers.
