What you'll do

• Drive to client facilities, typically nursing homes
• collect physician-ordered samples at patients’ bedsides
• identify patients and collect, label, process, and deliver specimens
• communicate route status and location to dispatch
• follow Universal Precautions and specimen procedures
• maintain supplies and a clean work area
• report safety concerns and problems
• maintain required certifications and records.
