The Direct Support Professional (DSP) / Caregiver — 2nd Shift role is onsite in Huntsville, AL, in a residential setting. Compensation is $11–$13 per hour. Ability Plus provides community-inclusive residential environments for people with intellectual disabilities, guided by its mission of “Enabling Lives & Dreams.” The caregiver provides personal care and awake supervision while supporting residents’ daily activities, health, safety, and individual plans. The role contributes to residents’ quality of life by promoting dignity, rights, choice, and participation in everyday routines.

What you'll do

• Follow HCBS guidelines and Person-Centered Plans
• complete required documentation and training
• assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, and hygiene
• provide continuous awake supervision and monitor health, behavior, and dietary needs
• support cooking, household chores, recreation, fitness, and money management
• maintain a clean and safe environment.
