Vice President, Casualty Underwriting

What you'll do

• Underwrite and oversee new and renewal casualty and professional liability programs, including proportional and excess-of-loss treaty placements
• develop broker relationships and business opportunities
• identify clients aligned with risk appetite
• partner with underwriting, claims, actuarial/reserving, exposure management, and distribution teams
• review, negotiate, and finalize treaty wordings with legal
• represent AmericanAg at industry forums and client engagements
• monitor portfolio performance, market trends, compliance, and risk management standards.
