Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Long Term Care (LTC) position available in Alpena, SD. This is a full-time, onsite role with varied shifts. The pay range is $20.00 - $25.50 per hour. Good Samaritan is a not-for-profit organization with over 100 years of service to seniors.

What you'll do

• Serves as caregiver to residents in long term care.
• Provides resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under the supervision of a registered nurse.
• Delivers age-appropriate care related to the physical and psychological needs of the resident.
• Assists with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, vital signs, and psychosocial support.
• Assists with transfers, repositioning, and walking.
• Completes tasks related to food preparation and dining.
• Documents resident interactions and care outcomes.
• Communicates resident's changing condition to the charge nurse.
• Collects specimens and gathers vital signs.
• Provides housekeeping and laundry services.
• Assists with wellness and recreational programs.

What we're looking for

Education

High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.

Experience

Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care preferred.
