What you'll do

• Manage workers’ compensation defense cases from assignment through resolution
• represent employers, insurers, and other clients in claims and litigation
• prepare for and attend hearings, court appearances, depositions, and mediations
• draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, correspondence, and case evaluations
• analyze evidence
• communicate case developments and strategy to clients
• negotiate settlements
• maintain case files and meet deadlines and billable expectations.
