What you'll do

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment
• prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
• participate in multidisciplinary treatment planning
• collaborate with therapists, nursing staff, and academic teams
• ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards
• support quality improvement and clinical best practices
• consult with families and treatment teams as needed
• contribute to program development and clinical leadership
• participate in weekly clinical treatment team and case consultations
• sign off on treatment plans
• supervise PMHNPs
• provide peer-to-peer authorization reviews and restraint order sign-offs
• participate in quarterly medical executive calls and occasional on-call consultations.
