The Centralized Monitoring Unit (CMU) at Hartford Hospital supports the monitoring of nearly 300 patients' cardiac rhythms and hemodynamic status. This non-direct care position is ideal for an RN with telemetry experience.

What you'll do

• Support and coordinate daily activities of Central Monitor Technicians.
• Provide clinical support for rhythm interpretation, protocol adherence, and telemetry best practices.
• Collaborate with CMU Nurse Educator for training.
• Support smooth transitions between shifts.
• Participate in daily team huddles and unit initiatives.
• Act as a communication link between CMU and inpatient clinical staff.
• Assist with reviewing staffing assignments.
• Contribute to quality improvement efforts related to telemetry and monitoring workflows.
• Assist with coaching and guiding staff.
