What you'll do

• Supervise and engage children in grades K–5 during afterschool hours
• implement daily activities aligned with YMCA curriculum and child development
• maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• build respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers
• support behavior guidance and health, safety, emergency, and child-protection policies
• assist with arrival, dismissal, snacks, and transitions
• attend required training and meetings
• and complete incident and attendance records.

Why this role
