Automotive Service Technician

Job overview

The Automotive Service Technician role is onsite in Woodbridge, VA. Compensation is $40–$55 per hour. The position supports Ourisman Automotive Group’s guest-focused dealership service operation. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains vehicles to provide safe and reliable service. The role works with service advisors and other technicians to complete repairs to manufacturer standards and support customer satisfaction.

What you'll do

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and perform repairs
• conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid checks
• test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools to verify repairs
• maintain records of work, parts, and recommendations
• coordinate with service advisors and technicians
• occasionally explain repairs and maintenance needs to customers.
