The Lead Product Safety and Compliance Engineer - Power Test is an onsite role based in Deer Park, IL. The base salary range is $141,400 - $226,200 per year, supporting the Power Test Division at Teradyne. This role exists to lead day-to-day safety and EMC compliance activities, ensuring innovative products are brought to market safely and compliantly. The engineer partners with design teams to drive early risk assessment and manages certification processes to maintain technical excellence.

What you'll do

  • Lead and manage product safety and EMC compliance activities across all Power Test Division projects.
  • Integrate with design teams to drive early risk assessment and pre-compliance work.
  • Coordinate internal and external testing events with certification suppliers and test labs.
  • Ensure compliance with CE, NRTL, SEMI, and other relevant standards.
  • Conduct product safety analysis from circuit-level to system-level designs.
  • Maintain Test Reports, Constructional Data Forms, and Technical Construction Files.
