Working with the Center Director, the Assistant Director helps maintain classroom standards, licensing compliance, staffing, enrollment, and family satisfaction. The role supports teachers and families while helping children thrive in the center’s early learning program.

What you'll do

• Partner with the Center Director on daily operations
• support recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and training teaching staff
• manage staff schedules and classroom ratios
• observe classrooms and coach teachers
• support implementation of the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• maintain Massachusetts EEC compliance and documentation
• build relationships with children, families, and teaching teams
• conduct center tours
• support enrollment, engagement, and retention
• help resolve staff and family concerns
• step into classrooms and operations as needed.
