IT Technical Project Manager

Job overview

The IT Technical Project Manager role is hybrid in Virginia Beach, VA, with work from home Tuesdays and Thursdays and onsite work Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Pay is $100,000 to $130,000 per year. Paradigm develops academic credentialing services and technology for colleges and universities. The role leads cross-functional technology initiatives from initiation through implementation and transition, managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and delivery. It connects technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to deliver systems and improvements that support clients and company operations.

What you'll do

• Lead IT projects through initiation, requirements, planning, execution, testing, deployment, and transition
• manage scope, schedules, budgets, resources, milestones, and deliverables
• apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methods
• manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change control
• coordinate internal teams and external vendors
• maintain project documentation and status reporting
• coordinate user acceptance testing and implementation readiness
• improve project management standards and governance.
