What you'll do

• Maintain monitoring tools for deficiencies
• prepare and sort patient files
• assemble discharged patient records
• type department reports
• file records
• copy charts for release of information
• pull and log charts for audits
• verify patient and insurance information for claims
• support timely claim submission and follow-up on unpaid or denied claims
• protect confidential information under HIPAA
• collaborate with medical staff to maintain complete and accurate records.
