What you'll do

• Develop procurement strategies
• build and maintain a qualified supplier network
• negotiate pricing, terms, lead times, and capacity
• manage purchasing from purchase-order release through delivery
• review bills of materials, drawings, and specifications
• manage long-lead materials and delivery schedules
• track supplier performance and corrective actions
• lead cost-reduction efforts
• coordinate with cross-functional teams on shortages, quality issues, and procurement risks.
