Maintenance Supervisor

• Achieve maintenance goals with a focus on safety
• support troubleshooting of machine centers
• manage department costs
• perform maintenance planning and coordinate PM routes
• communicate goals
• manage conflicts
• supervise maintenance and cleanup personnel
• manage contractor safety
• maintain sawmill equipment including de-barkers, edgers, and conveyors
• ensure crew safety through lock-out procedures and audits
• mentor apprentices
• plan improvement projects
• manage parts inventory
• schedule attendance
• inspect completed work.
