Financial Counselor, Patient Billing

The Financial Counselor, Patient Billing role is onsite in Tampa, FL, with compensation of $19 per hour. What you'll do

• Respond to incoming patient calls about self-pay statements, billing inquiries, and payments
• make outbound collection calls
• review assigned accounts and collection reports
• determine patient responsibility, including deductibles, coinsurance, and contractual discounts
• establish and monitor payment arrangements
• process payments
• research potentially non-collectible accounts
• identify billing issues for review and document patient cases
• respond to patients, physician offices, and insurers
• maintain customer service, meet productivity metrics, and comply with HIPAA and company policies.
