What you'll do

• Review provider documentation and medical records for risk-adjustment requirements
• identify and document HCC coding information
• abstract codes and conduct coding quality audits
• discuss coding and documentation issues with physicians
• provide audit feedback
• maintain knowledge of coding regulations and ICD-10/HCC updates
• recommend process improvements
• train and mentor staff
• provide peer guidance
• assist with or lead projects as needed.
