Registered Nurse Case Manager, Behavioral Health

The Registered Nurse Case Manager role is onsite in Bethesda, MD, at Walter Reed, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Compensation is $40–$50 per hour, plus health and welfare benefits. Decypher partners with the Defense Health Agency to support care for service members, veterans, and their families. The RN coordinates case and utilization management across the care continuum, advocating for patients and helping patients, families, and providers access appropriate care and resources. The role supports quality, cost-effective outcomes for complex and high-risk cases.

What you'll do

• Coordinate patient care, referrals, appointments, resources, and follow-up
• assess patient needs and barriers and develop care plans
• manage complex and high-risk cases
• educate patients and families
• maintain clinical documentation and use electronic medical records and databases
• collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and support compliance with nursing standards and facility policies.
