What you'll do

• Interpret medication orders and maintain patient medication profiles
• prepare and dispense medications, including sterile and parenteral nutrition preparations
• issue controlled substances and maintain required records
• monitor medication regimens for interactions, allergies, and appropriateness
• review culture and susceptibility data
• identify adverse reactions and medication errors
• provide clinical consultations and drug information
• document clinical activities
• participate in quality improvement and medication-use review
• supervise pharmacy support personnel.
