Through regular checks, communication with the care team, and appropriate instruction, the role contributes to the school’s therapeutic and educational program.

What you'll do

• Conduct walkthroughs every 15 minutes to account for students
• complete basic housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and common-area cleaning
• secure exterior doors and watch for unauthorized people or vehicles
• implement instruction appropriate to each student’s cognitive, emotional, social, and psychological development
• communicate relevant information to supervisors, clinicians, behaviorists, and nurses
• maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment.
