Surgical Technologist (CVOR Heart Team) This is an onsite position in Webster, TX, with a salary range of $0.0 - $0.0 USD per year. HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is part of HCA Healthcare. This role exists to provide technical services and assist in the Hybrid Room and Operating Room for cardiovascular surgical procedures, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team.

What you'll do

• Provide technical services, assist in the Hybrid Room and Operating Room while providing care for the adolescent, adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Work collaboratively to complete all Cardiac Surgical Technologist assignments.
• Work under the direct supervision of the assigned clinician for the case, and the Director, to facilitate safe invasive and non-invasive procedures.
• Perform advanced tasks routinely in support of the surgical team.
• Arrange sterile setup for surgical procedures, pass instruments, as well as, sponge and sutures to surgeons and surgical assistants.
• Prepare sterile supplies, assist in cleanup of the operating room, check placement and the operation of equipment, and check and restock the operating room after each procedure.

What we're looking for

Education

Formal training from an accredited Certified Surgical Technician Program

Experience

2-3 years of experience in a surgery/CV/cardiac hospital setting
