What you'll do

• Retrieve, sort, and process specimens for referral laboratories
• check sample quality and accuracy
• prepare shipments according to IATA regulations
• file departmental documents
• respond to customer inquiries and investigate complex referral-testing issues
• report results using established protocols
• research test availability and referral vendors
• communicate tests not performed and lab accidents to clients within 24 hours of notification
• follow CLIA, HIPAA, OSHA, and laboratory safety requirements.
