Preschool Lead Teacher

The Preschool Lead Teacher role is onsite in Clackamas, OR. The stated pay range is $19.94–$24.00 per hour. The teacher supports Cadence Education’s work to foster children’s growth in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment. The role leads classroom operations and delivers curriculum that supports children’s physical, social, emotional, and developmental needs. By maintaining safety and licensing standards and partnering with families and colleagues, the teacher helps each child learn and thrive, including children with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).

What you'll do

• Create an inclusive classroom and build professional relationships with children and families
• recognize diverse developmental, behavioral, cultural, and learning needs and implement IEPs and behavioral support plans as required
• plan, deliver, and document developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence Education’s philosophy and programs
• communicate with families, coworkers, and leadership using required systems
• supervise children safely and follow safety procedures
• document and report incidents and escalated behaviors
• follow company policies and licensing requirements
• participate in required training, meetings, and professional development, which may occur outside scheduled work hours.
