Maintenance Mechanic — Third Shift (10:00 PM–6:30 AM)

The Maintenance Mechanic role is onsite in Visalia, CA, on third shift from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Pay is $36 per hour. The role supports a food manufacturing facility producing cheese sauce, pudding, and other packaged food products. The mechanic maintains and troubleshoots can-seaming and related packaging equipment to protect package integrity, food safety, and production-line efficiency. The role works with production, quality, and maintenance teams to reduce downtime and maintain reliable equipment performance.

What you'll do

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on can seamers, fillers, aseptic tunnels, conveyors, and related equipment
• set up and troubleshoot seamers during production and changeovers
• repair, rebuild, and overhaul equipment
• diagnose seam defects and mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• inspect double seams and measure specifications
• support startups, shutdowns, and changeovers
• maintain equipment, records, and seam inspection documentation
• follow plant safety, GMP, HACCP, sanitation, and food-safety procedures
• work overtime, weekends, and emergency call-ins as required.
