The Production Operations I – Door Panel Assembly role is onsite in Buffalo Grove, IL, with pay of $21 per hour. The listed shift is 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch. The work involves assembling door panels for Wabtec. The role contributes to production by assembling and finishing door panels to specifications, using hand and power tools and applying seals, hardware, wiring, glass, and other components as required by the print.

What you'll do

• Attach roller brackets and hinges
• install rubber seals, sensitive edges, wiring, glass windows, and sensors when specified
• attach brush seals and cover plates
• assemble shafts and related components
• perform paint touch-ups
• apply caulk and adhesives when appropriate
• install handles when specified
• perform other duties outside the function or trade when asked and adequately trained.
