The Pre-K Teacher Assistant / Aftercare role is onsite in Phoenix, AZ, with stated pay of $17–$18 per hour. The schedule is 40 hours per week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.; Tuesday and Thursday 11:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. Little Sprout Preschool is a private academic preschool serving children ages 3 through 6 in its community. The role assists the lead teacher with classroom activities and care, then supports children’s transition into aftercare and their pickup routines. It contributes to a clean, organized learning environment and helps maintain attendance and daily classroom operations.

What you'll do

• Assist the lead teacher
• sanitize tables between activities
• help children with snacks and lunch from home
• implement curriculum as directed
• keep the classroom and restroom clean
• help children transition to aftercare
• offer play, coloring, or games
• greet parents at pickup
• maintain attendance in Brightwheel
• organize bookshelves and clean after the last child leaves.
