Job overview
The Dialysis Patient Care Technician role is an onsite position based in Los Angeles, CA. This role exists to provide safe and comfortable dialysis treatment to patients with renal failure. The technician works under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse to monitor patients, manage equipment, and ensure all safety and quality protocols are strictly followed.
What you'll do
- Gather patient stats before and after treatment, initiate and terminate dialysis treatment, monitor patients during treatment, collect blood samples, prepare and disinfect hemodialysis machines, conduct machine safety checks, and adhere to company policies and state/federal regulations.
