The engineer develops low-level software that connects camera and sensor hardware to higher-level applications. The work includes Linux kernel drivers, hardware bring-up, embedded Linux builds, and collaboration with hardware engineers to resolve software and hardware integration issues.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain Linux kernel drivers and low-level software for camera and sensor hardware
• develop and debug device communications over interfaces including CAN, UART, I2C, SPI, and MIPI CSI
• bring up hardware platforms through board support package development, device-tree configuration, and kernel/bootloader integration
• build embedded Linux distributions with Yocto and BitBake
• collaborate with hardware engineering teams
• perform low-level debugging and performance analysis.
