What you'll do

• Perform maintenance and repair work to dealership standards
• provide labor and time estimates
• explain diagnoses and repairs to service advisors and customers
• inspect and test vehicles
• use diagnostic tools and service equipment
• diagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brake, and air-conditioning systems
• communicate additional service needs
• complete warranty repairs to manufacturer specifications
• oversee and sign off on other mechanics’ repairs and train new technicians as described for the Main Line role.
