Extractions Lab Technician

Job overview

The Extractions Lab Technician role is onsite in Flagstaff, AZ. Compensation is $20 per hour, with an additional $2 per hour for hours worked between 6:00 PM and 6:00 AM. The technician joins the Laboratory Operations team and prepares biological specimens for analysis.

What you'll do

• Prepare and aliquot urine and oral fluid specimens
• perform hydrolysis, solid-phase extraction, and liquid-liquid extraction according to laboratory procedures
• prepare samples for LC/MS-MS analysis
• prepare and restock reagents and buffers
• assist with laboratory inventory
• troubleshoot and escalate issues
• maintain specimen preparation and chain-of-custody records
• and follow laboratory procedures and quality standards.
