Overnight Engineer / Security Officer

Job overview

The Overnight Engineer / Security Officer role is onsite in Charleston, SC. Compensation is $18.50 per hour. What you'll do

• Inspect mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
• respond to overnight maintenance requests
• troubleshoot and perform minor repairs
• monitor critical systems and report malfunctions
• complete preventive maintenance and document work
• conduct interior and exterior security patrols
• monitor designated areas, cameras, and alarms when applicable
• respond to disturbances and emergencies
• keep exits and evacuation routes clear
• assist guests and the Front Desk
• maintain maintenance and security logs
• communicate pending issues to the morning team.
